Both ceremony and reception are at Nordic Northwest. There is plenty of parking on site, you can also access the venue Accessible on the 45 bus.

Dress Code

Come in your best “Figgy formal” attire. This looks like midi to floor length dresses, collared shirts, dress pants, and ties. Need inspo? Check out this pinterest board.

The Couples neighborhood - Northwest/ Nob Hill

We love where we live. The couple's apartment was picked partially for the 98 walk score. Take a few hours and pretend to be us.

• NW 23rd has plenty of shops to visit (check out Rat Star Vintage)
• Paymaster - Patio drinks and a $9 martini (gin, extra dirty if you want to cosplay Angie)
• Life of Pie - $9 margarita pizza happy hour 11am - 6pm, we visit more often than we should
• Stepping stone cafe - Neighborhood diner, crazy busy at peak hours so get there early or lunch hours, we made our guest list here over breakfast :)
• Stairwalk if you're feeling crazy - the bride likes to call this a masochist walk. It is terrible and awesome. NW Stairs and Trails Loop Walk

Downtown Core

• Powell's Books: Obviously, largest independent book store in the world you gotta pop in.
• Java Man - A proper little NoLa beignet, coffee burnt, beignet yummy and generously powdered take your little bag and walk over to Darcelle XV plaza or Pioneer square to people watch..
• Spella Cafe - My fave coffee coaster in the city, they understand what is meant by extra dry cappuccino. Italian style grab and go. Great place to get coffee to go with your beignets.
• The Marie- Marie: Sniff around a little, the groom loves a niche fragrance.

Kerns

There's great places to eat all over the city, but Kerns wins the award for best cluster of restos. You'll have to work to find something bad to eat over here: Guero and Farag are solid options.

• Ken's Artisan pizza: Good pizza w/ a Lambrusco worth the visit, doesn't take reservations so there may be a wait. Pop into Holeman's up the street for a drink while you wait.
• Cheese and crack: A little soft serve never hurt nobody, add a cowboy hat to your cone and say Howdy to get the “Max Experience."

• Peanut stew and fuufuu from Akadi
• Rose city coffee: The only 24-hour coffee shop in the city if you need her.
• Hachi: Great option for very late dinner downtown.
• Rimsky-Korsakoffee: Long time loc for dessert and coffee, gets very busy.
• Food carts are a city staple, they're all over town, Tokyo Sando is a good one!
